Tour Itinerary

6 Nights/ 7 Days

Day 1 Arrival – New Delhi

  • Arrival in Delhi by international flight. Our representative will meet you at the airport, assist you and transfer you to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 2. New Delhi

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Old Delhi, orienting through the area of Old Delhi, strolling around the outside of the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk Street and stop to visit the memorial of Gandhi the Raj Ghat, this beautiful park is where the cenotaph is located which consists of a black marble platform indicating the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated after his assassination. Pandit Nehru and Indira Gandhi were also cremated there. We will continue our tour of New Delhi. We will visit the government buildings, the India Gate, a triumphal arch built in stone and with a height of 42 meters, which contains the names of the 90,000 soldiers of the Indian army who died during the First World War. Panoramic tour of the Parliament area and the President’s residence.Later, visit of Humayun’s Tomb: Humayun’s Tomb, 60 years before the Taj Mahal, is the result of a wife’s love for her late husband, which echoed the sentiment that inspired its creation: a grieving husband built a mausoleum in memory of his beloved wife. Incorporating Persian and Mughal architectural elements, this unique garden tomb was built in the mid-16th century in memory of Mughal emperor Humayun by his first wife, Haji Begum, of Persian origin.Finally, we’ll see the Qutub Minar, one of the oldest monuments in the first city of Delhi, as its construction began in 1199. This complex is characterized by combining Hindu styles with Islamic elements. Its minaret, or minaret, is the tallest in the world, reaching a height of 72.5 m arranged in five layers of decreasing diameter. At the foot of the minaret is the red and yellow brick Alai Darwaza gate, which was once the entrance to the mosque. Also here is the tomb of Sultan Iltutamish and the mausoleum of Imam Zami. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 3. New Delhi- Jaipur (270 kms, 05 hours)

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by road to Jaipur, arrival and transfer to the hotel. Jaipur, the pink city that owes its nickname to the color of the sandstone with which the buildings of the ancient city were constructed. Its pleasing design is due to Maharaja Jai Sigh II, who began its construction in 1728 and who had his architect Vidyadhar Chakravarty successfully mix styles as diverse as Hindu, Jain, Mughal and Persian. In the afternoon we will visit the Hindu temple of Birla. Accommodation.

 Día 4. Jaipur – Amber – Jaipur

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Amber Fort, the ascent will be made on the back of an elephant (subject to availability), and the descent in jeeps. The fort, built by the Mughal kings in order to defend the Citadel. This complex is made up of a set of buildings that include a palace and another fortress in a higher position. We will visit the Palace of the Maharajah, residence of the royal family of Jaipur, an enclosure full of palaces, gardens and other buildings among which the Chandra Mahal stands out, it is seven floors high, and inside is the Museum of the Haharaja Sawai Man Singh II in which you can see carpets, enamel objects,  weapons, miniature paintings, cannons and clothes of the Maharajas. Next we will visit Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory, with a 30 m sundial. and other astronomical instruments of great interest. This is one of only five observatories in existence. Next to this area is the well-known Palace of the Winds or Hawa Mahal (it is a façade with a palace structure) that served for women to see the processions and the life of the streets. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 5.  Jaipur – -Agra (240 kms – 05hrs)

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Agra, arrival and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon we will visit the Red Fort of Agra.  The Red Fort, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. The building, which dates back to 1565, is conceived as a walled palace surrounded by a deep moat of water. The fortress, which is accessed from an imposing gate called Amar Singh, contains numerous palaces and stately buildings built by the Mughal emperor Akbar, and used in successive governments of the Mongol Empire as a base of operations for the Mughal power. Día 6 Agra-Delhi (200 kms, 4 hrs)

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will visit one of the seven wonders of the world. The Taj Mahal (closed every Friday of the year), the monument that has made Agra world famous and has become the symbol of India. The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum that Emperor Shah Jahan had built in 1631 in honour of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the lady of the Taj, who died giving birth to their fourteenth child in 1629. The construction, in which 20,000 people participated, was not completed until 1653. It is the most representative example of Mongolian architecture. The chief architect, Isa Khan, designed this complex in a rectangle of 508 by 304 meters with a central garden flanked on its four sides by octagonal pavilions. The mausoleum, built entirely of white marble, stands on a marble base with a minaret, also white, at each of the corners that reach 41 meters in height each. The central body consists of four small domes that surround a larger one located in the center. In the crypt of this two-storey building rest the remains of this couple. If the architectural ensemble itself is already impressive, the decoration known as hard stone, in which small details such as floral arabesques and geometric motifs in semi-relief with precious stones departing towards Delhi. Day 7 Delhi-Next Destination

  • Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for a return flight or to the next destination.
